In the past, fame was composed of kings and queens. They were famous for governing their reigns, because of that, these people had fans who loved them. Moreover, other citizens were also famous, the artists: Actors of theatre, opera musicians and writers. Many people appreciated and followed them.
In the 17th century, came another type of fame, the president who governed the country, and has other presidents still today. As the Emperor, these people have followers who worship this individual.
In the 19th and 20th centuries, with the emergence of television, theatre actors could act on screen, at firstin black and white. Because of that invention, we can know many famous people in this era, such as: Audrey Hepburn, Julie Andrews, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, and others. These women, for example, won many fans all over the world and today they are still famous. They were famous for movies that they made and some of them won an oscar for their performances.
Other singers appeared and the fame began to increase and also many musical genres started to appear. These artists had this rise with the help of TV shows that were interviewed by tv hostsand sang in their tv shows. They used this opportunity to do concerts in many countries.
Magazines contributed even more to the fame of actors and singers, because they reported about the life, gossip, polemics and curiosities of famous people.
At the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st century, something changed. The internet came and this was really good for artists, because their content expanded with more ease in all the places.
In 2005, Youtube came and brought another type of fame: The Era of The Youtubers. People made and still make videos about anything. Gameplays were a huge success because many Youtubers are still famous because they did content of minecraft, roblox, and other games by making stories,music videos and gameplays about it. In makeup, many women and men stayed famous for makeup tutorials. Others stayed famous, because they made vlogs about their lives.
In 2014, came the era of influencers on Instagram. People all over the world have become famous for their publications on this platform. In 2016, this influence increased with the emergence of stories that consist of the ´´instagramers´´ to post more contents and share about their lives. These famous people won a lot of money because of that.
In 2017, another social media became famous, Musical.ly. This app consists of recording a short video with songs and audios that you can do. Many ´´musers´´, called who did videos, stayed famous because of those dances, such as: Brazilian muser, Luara Fonseca, Loren Gray, Morimura, and others.
In 2020, this media stopped with the name musical.ly and became Tiktok. Because of the pandemic, all people had to stay at home and this was when teenagers started to record dances and comedy videos. Many people stayed famous, such as: Bella Poarch, Addison Rae, Charli D´Amelio, and others.
This social media helped also with tiktokers who wanted to be a singer, because their fans of the platform could help by sharing. Some examples are: Vivi Wanderley, Bella Poarch and Addison Rae.
In conclusion, the fame changed considerably in these years. Today the fame has increased more and more. But this increase can be due to the fact that the famous people had their minds affected negatively because of that pressure and haters. In other cases, it's great, for the love of fans.
